My law firm is a boutique for business, focusing exclusively on entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses, corporations and non-profits. My goal is to prevent and solve headaches and heartaches for you.
What does this mean in specific terms? Below are many of the areas where I can be of assistance. However, if you don't see what you're looking for, just ask me, and I'll be happy to have a conversation with you. I'm sure I can help you or if I can't, point you in the right direction.
Finally, I act as a "one stop shop" for many of my clients. If for instance, your business needs immigration assistance bringing in a valued employee, or if someone fell on your property, I maintain strong relationships with other lawyers I know and trust, and I can work with them, or refer you to them. This way, you don't need to know a hundred lawyers, just me.
I am confident I can help you find a solution to many of your business and legal needs, so feel free to call or send me an email.

I act as your business contract lawyer. Whether it's analyzing, drafting, editing, interpreting, explaining, or negotiating, I can assist you with all varieties of contracts that will come across your busy desk: Consultant, Construction, Equipment and Commercial Rental Leases, Letters of Intent, Public Works, Purchases, and Technology agreements (i.e. ASP, SaaS, SLA, TOS), and many more.
Business companies and non- profit organizations face many of the same issues: formation and dissolution, trademark protection, the need for proper by-laws, properly run board meetings, compliance with city, state and even federal rules and laws, advice about employee issues, negotiations with competitors, etc. For smaller companies, I often act as a small business lawyer for less pressing legal matters.
Delicately dispensing an irksome disagreement with a close business partner or settling a brutal dispute to avoid a costly lawsuit, can be difficult on your own. Many situations can be resolved through simple negotiation, or mediation, if handled properly.
I have spent two separate careers, one in government and one in law, resolving and talking out unusual issues, negotiating contracts, cutting deals and forging compromises and agreements for the benefit of all concerned parties, whether they regarded each other cordially or sometimes maybe not. If you have a deal or a problem, I am prepared to advocate for you.
With nearly 15 years of experience in and around government, in legal and other capacities, I have an instinctual feel for the means, methods and priorities of many local, State and federal agencies. I can assist you in navigating the rocky shoals of these bureaucracies, cutting through their red tape and complying with their rules, so that you can do what you do best - running your business or non-profit.
Technology raises many legal issues in modern society; intellectual property protection, copyrights, complexity of transactions, liability for breaches, privacy, security, etc. It's important that your firm or organization has an intellectual property lawyer to keep up with both the latest regulations as well as the most recent developments in drafting technology contracts.
